Futurist Dinner

Modern Art Projects (MAP) Futurist Dinner 2016

Formed as an avant-garde art movement in the early 20th Century Italian Futurism celebrated advanced technology. Its members sought to destroy older forms of culture and to demonstrate the beauty of modern life – the beauty of the machine, speed, and change.

Inspired by the Futurist Cookbook by founder Fillippo Marinetti the Futurist dinner was an evening of sensory experience through sound, aroma, performance and taste.
